Equipment and props

Camera equipment and laptop: As our main tool for recording the music video, we will be using a DSLR camera Canon D700. To successfully use this equipment, we will definitely charge it before travelling to shoot and we will also be taking the camera charger just in case. We are aware that we might be stranded with all sorts of issues such as low camera battery. If such issue occurs, we can pop into a coffee shop that provides sockets for customers to use, and solve the issue by charging the camera there. We will also make full use of other equipment’s such as a tripod which will help us to achieve consistent and professional scenes without any interruptions such as hand shake. The tripod will also be used to capture still close-ups and mid-shots which we plan to include.
GoPro set: The GoPro set is another action camera of choice that we are planning to take with us during the recording process. This is because it is lightweight and compact, yet it can deliver crystal-clear videos with high quality images being produced.
Portable flashlight: This tool will prove to be extremely helpful in areas where the light source might be particularly limited because it will allow us to provide greater light source in certain scenes where appropriate.
Flare stick: The flare stick will be used away from the actress/actors face to avoid any potential risks that could occur. It will also be used in an abandoned area so that it avoids any public damage.

  1. Analysis of how you used the equipment and pros/cons of each, relate to 'professionals' research on what is used in the industry - evidence.
